    X-pipe install -newbie question-

The pipe will probably be going on by wednsday, so I really need some good straight up advice. If anyone could break it down for me a little bit.... The shop installing is an import shop, all VW. But I know them all, they're cool, plus they do great work, and honor their labor, etc etc...

    X-pipe install -newbie question-

So everyone with a newer mustang with an off road pipe has had to use these, or something similar? Also, are they just a simple install too? Ima call the shop tomorow and tell them about this, because I cannot stand a check engine light being on. Also, there's no easier way to get around the...

    X-pipe install -newbie question-

I have a question plz. I have the Magnaflow Magnapac Cat-back as of now, rest of exhaust is stock. I just ordered a BBK 2.5" O/R X-Pipe, i'm wondering, the shop says it's a quick, easy install, however, this install doesnt affect the Oxygen sensors does it? I'm still new to the newer stangs...

Anyone see the newest issue of MM&FF

I have a '95 XR7, fully loaded, great car, plenty of power, even tho it's only the 3.8L, it has 160k on it, but the head gasket blew two hears ago, had the heads rebuilt and ported and polished, few other very small things. My girl ran into the back of a civic SI with it....damnit, but it was...

I think its time to give up :(

Agree with most everyone here. You should re-think it, take your time. There's no rush, especially if you're considering ebay to sell. Take your time, make the right choice. If I were you, I would try to save, or borrow a car for a weekend, or maybe an extra day or two on top of that, and try to...

Looking for 4.6L Mustang vs C6 Z06 Video

Well, here's a video that I found archived, i've had it a while, and I dont remember the description very well, but, basically, they start around 100mph, the cobra pulls pretty good, then the z06 pulls almost even, then when shifting to 5th the cobra pulls away. So, yes, a 4.6 stang 'can' beat a...

k everyone brand new here...just want some advice and help

I just mean in terms of loosing torque from a bigger wheel. With good suspension then defonantly 18's are ok, but, I still prefer the feel of the 17's, just my personal preference, I should'nt have posted it like I did, like it was important. I tried a set of 18's I was gonna buy off a friend...

k everyone brand new here...just want some advice and help

Plus they can wait, i'd go with gears or exhaust first. Lowering does look nice tho, just be sure and do it right, not just for looks, but performance. Anyways most ppl will agree gears/exhaust = must have. Especially since you have -99 4.6, you need power! Well I mean if I were you i'd work to...

Kids imitating Pinks at local dragstrip tonight

The show has a serious flaw, I thought most of you would have noticed by now. They pretty much just say to the inductees " Bring a 11 second car" Well, heh, as you can imagine the two cars are always very different and not nearly matched. They should make them run 3 qualifiers, then run...

k everyone brand new here...just want some advice and help

Um, lowering, well, most people do it for looks, and dont spend the money on full suspension components to really make the car handle better. You should get high end springs and struts to start with, dont cheap out, especially on bushings. As for the sub, make a box yourself, it's not hard...

Went Drag Racing last night...96GTvs04Z06 vid

As I watched I was hoping you'd pull on him past the 1/8th but just heald pretty steady, good run tho. Atleast it was close, and consider what he payed for that car, and only got you by a little.

My 99 LE is my dd for now, and, well, with 109 on the clock I expect things to break, but nothing does. However, I like to drive...how should I say...."gingerly", like, I really baby it, I dunno, it just feels nice. Then when I do get on it hard, I dont feel bad about it, because 99% of the time...
