    Nice notch, a true survivor! My 'vert has a 5.0 in it's future also, but probably from it's next owner. I couldn't bear to pull the good old 2.3L. I know I couldn't bear the cost of gas and speeding tickets :( I would get with the V8. Good luck on the swap!! :nice:

    1990 and on convertibles have speakers in the rear seat side panel area, earlier years had only dash & door speakers. I think the steering wheel and cruise controls changed at some point, maybe 1991, with newer models having the air bag in the center of the wheel and cruise controls on the side...

    Can I fit anything behind the seat?

    I had my top repaired the other day, and the technician told me never to have any thing behind the rear seat when the top goes down because it will bust you rear window as it folds down into that area.

    According to your figures, looks like the speedo is just about right where it should be. Sure feels like I'm just puttin' along 5 -10 mph slower than I really am. Gotta say I've never owned a car that drove so good at high speeds - maybe that just makes 55 seem like 45 and 65 seem like 55...
