    Lowered....Tie rod question

When I lowered my '96 to that dim. I had no problem with bump steer or anything, just handled sweet. You might look into offset steering rack bushings, if you're really worry about it. I think it'll raise the rack about .25-.31". Might be worth your piece of mind and are easy to install...

Reverse is synchronized too, so shifting into reverse should be no problem... I have not had problems with that. That's not to say that something wasn't wrong with yours. Dahun

    Camber Problem

Can you tell the difference between before and after? IOW, can you see where they tighten the nuts in relation to a fixed point on the strut tower? If the nuts/plate slip, maybe they're bottoming out the nuts on the studs, and therefore, get a false sense of tightening the hardware. I'd mark...

Need address to corporate!... writing letter.

Anyone have a mailing address or even e-mail address for the Ford Corporation Customer Support/complaint? I'm sick of waiting for my tranny to get fixed. I'll have to fire away a couple of letters. Don't know if it'll do any good, but I gotta try. Thanks, Dahun

Meeting with Ford Rep... I talked to my dealer, and said that they'll have the Ford Rep. check it out, and if he says that the grind is normal, then Ford won't even touch it for the same problem ever again!? Can they do this? It's my word against his... What's the best strategy...

    Lowering the driver seat?

I'm wondering if the seat can be lowered so that I get a little more head room? The power seat is all the way to the bottom and I could still use some room. I'd like to lower the seat by about an inch. Is this possible? and how? Thanks, Dahun

    Clutch Pedal Vibration???

My '96 had the same problem.... ... took it to the dealer, and turned out to be a pressure plate problem. Not sure of the exact cause, but I remember it had something to do with the fingers on the diaphragm that engage the throw-out bearing. Good luck.

    Changin gears... o.d.

Has anybody done, or knows how to install a different o.d. ratio in the Tremec? I think the 5th gear is way tall and want to drop it to .68:1 (vice the OEM .62:1). While the motor has a lot of torque down under, it still needs down shifting if I really want to get going. Cruising at 72mph is...

    Official Tremec 3650 Issues Thread

Mine too!? I thought that it was the oil and cold temps. So at 5000 miles I changed the transmission fluid to a Mobil 1 ATF and it seemed to get a little better. Doesn't do it so much when it's warm but for the first 20 miles or so, it clunks into second. Doesn't matter if it is a fast or slow...

    power windows

Window noises... 02StallionGT, On my '96, the passanger window was touching a bracket or something, that scarched the tinting on the inside. It was also slower from day one, and shifted quite a bit when rolling up or down, you know, a rotating motion on the beginning of the motion. The...
