    Cable Clutch help

You will not be sorry. Get the dual MC Setup... I actually use his power brake setup along with a SVO Mustang dual master cylinder. There is more than enough room between the MC and the shock tower. John

    '85 302 Roller Block in '66 Mustang

You will need the steel distributor gear. Make sure that it is the steel one. The steel gear is smooth where the cast iron one is rough. You can buy the distributor at your local parts store. They typically will stock the cast gear, and have to special order the steel one. Shop arround...

    tri y and long tubes

The Tri-y's will give you more low end torque than the long tubes will. The long tubes are best for high end horsepower, where the tri-y's tend to provided a stronger mid range power. John

Well the mustang ran for 2 days straight. Now it wont start?

I have had a similar thing happen to a Unilite, but it was not electrical in nature. My incident involved the roll pin on the cam gear. First, lift off the cap, and start the motor. Make sure the rotor is rotating. It just sheared off. If the rotor is not moving, try turning it by hand...

Can someone please explain these specs on my camshaft?

One other small detail... The gross valve lift of .520 .523 is caluculated using 1.6:1 rocker arms. This means that the cam has a maximum lift of 0.325 and 0.3269. This is useful information if you wanted to change to 1.7:1 rocker arms for a little more lift. 0.553 0.556. I think you...

Getting tired of this, please help: Granada Swap

When you used the caps on the MC with the dowel rod, does the piston get really hard to push? If not you do not have all the air out. If the air is not out, you may want to try this... Loosen the caps, push in the MC piston, close the caps, release the piston. Repeat this process until...

Getting tired of this, please help: Granada Swap

First, pump up the system and will the pedal become firm and stay firm if you keep pressing on it with no leaks in the system? If if will, then it may not be the MC. The symptom that you describe of waiting 10 sec then the pedal will go to the floor is air in the brake system. Make sure that...

You mention the time that the neighbor was upset about the hammering. I grin every time that I start the stang now. The Flowmaster 2.5 inch exhaust is quite how shall I say... noticeable. John

    Finally coming together!!!!

Thanks guys... Ron, I will give you a call tomorrow. The wheels are Vintage 45's in 16x8 with Yokohama 225/50ZR16's on them. On Monday the rears will be changed out for a set of 245/45ZR16's since there is more than enough room. John

    Finally coming together!!!!

Well, after almost 2 years, I drove the car today! It has been way to long since the last time that I drove the car. I had forgotten how much fun these cars really are, and how much I have missed the car. Here is a quick pic from the test drive today. :D John

    Connecting B.U. lights -How?

The early 65's did not have back up lights, so the factory never installed the wiring for them. You may have to run a wire from a fused such as the radio feed, to the back up light switch on the transmission. Then from the back up light switch on the transmission to the back up lights...

    flowmaster exhaust kit ?

I did not have to add any pipe when I installed the full Flowmaster kit on my car. Actually installed the kit myself. I am running different headers though. I am using the Hooker Competitons not tri-y's. I just had to bend the h-pipe to align up with the Hooker reducers, then weld them...

    Tremec TKO

I am not trying to cast dispersions on what anyone has done, but I have to agree with Ronstang. He is correct on the issue of engine and transmission angle. I am not saying that it will not work, but why would you want to take such a chance on something like this. In the past, I have...
