    I am looking into trying to find a city park for all the mustang heads to meet up on a nice Saturday coming up and have a BBQ. I will shoot up another main posting here in the next few days and see what the response is.

    What tim are you guys planning on going? I should be out of school by 12. I finally got the timeing on my car to a happy median with the noisy rocker arm and lifters so I should be good to go for now.

    By the way, thanks Dave for looking at it for me. I'm sure you heard the tick I have been talking about. I have been looking at some of the lifter and roller rocker arm setups on Summit and the price seems to be reasonable. Do you maybe have some place that is cheaper on parts?

    Good call. I had to finally swap the thermostat today and now I'm just waiting on the cash to start replacing the parts that i need. I should hopefully be doing the work in a few months or less.

    :nice: I totally agree about the torque monster deal. The last one I was working on with a friend back home dyno'd at 342 at the wheels with a 150 shot and 420+ on torque. We actually found a 1 inch crack on the left side motor mount after words. Fun stuff.

    Well that could be difficult because of one of the rocker arms or lifters being bad, but a great tip to start. I thought the stock timing was 10 deg? I want to eventually make a really agressive street car that I can take to the track every so often. Thanks so much for the info.

    Hey thanks for the info. I will proably buy a timing light this weekend and then take it up to him maybe the following weekend. I know what the timing should be, I am just hearing a lot of different ideas on what should be done first. Any ideas?... Bone stock 1990 5.0 5 speed with exhaust work...
