    I had PTV when I was sitting at idle; pinging noise but as I would drive it would go away...I drove home fine on the freeway, as I was going down my street...timing chain broke, spring broke, valve dropped, bye bye engine. You may want to take the head off and check the piston for little marks...

    When your running higher amounts of boost, it bypasses more air than the original bypass valve.

    I think the adapter plate depends on if it's a draw-thru or blow-thru intake setup. I know Prochargers are blow-thru, and I didn't need any adapter plate.

    Amsoil is also a quality oil. I run Mobil 1 in the H3 and Amsoil full synthetic in the Mustang.

    I just updated My Garage, has the old dyno sheet + numbers. New numbers won't be available for a couple of weeks. My old fuel system that I was maxing out had 42# injectors and a 255 lph fuel pump. Since then, I switched to the 60# injectors and the cobra tank + pumps, and boost a pump.

    The shortblock comes completely assembled; I got it for roughly $3700 which includes shipping from CA to OH. If your interested, PM me and I'll let you know who I spoke to over there - very helpful and professional. I also forgot to say earlier that the block DOES come with a 1 year warranty :D

    I have Crower stage 3 blower cams, hence the need for the notched pistons - they have a .612 lift on intake/exhaust. Also, I have Patriot Performance stage II heads; all set to go! :nice:

    Thanks; and I will be sure to post up numbers. Should be a couple more weeks before it's all set, but I'm hoping for low to mid 500's w/ the methanol injection.
