    H-pipe brand, does it matter?

I have a MAC x-pipe, Flowmaster catback combination and found some problems mating them up together. The angles were a bit of a mis-match.

New to the 5.0 scene some Q's...

I got lucky with mine. 42,000kms, lady driven, non smoker. The car was mint. Just a couple of surface rust 'dots' on the hood from stone chips, and a bit of a crack on the bottom of the front bumper cover.:nice: BTW, I should list the 5.0 I pulled out of it....

New to the 5.0 scene some Q's...

The floor boards by your feet are common for rusting too. Also checking for deformations along the front frame rail shows any previous front collisions.

    Roller Rockers noisy

I have the same noisy roller issues. It seems like a common problem:shrug: I thought it was because I was using cheaper rollers. They are Crane Blue Racers. I checked the valve cover clearance and adjusted them several times...but still, when after the engine is heated up, they're noisy...

    Driveline vibration

I thought of doing that only after I started installing my new FMS aluminum driveshaft tonight. Hope that wouldn't have worked.... Anyway, the new driveshaft did the trick. I have a small amount of vibration under heavy acceleration. I'll probably turn down the pinion a degree or two...

    Carb size

Really, is the Torker such a bad match??? It's already been match ported to the heads, and I have no more clearance under my stock hood. Besides, the Vic Jr. is rated for 3500-7500 rpm. Seems a little off my range.

    Carb size

For anyone who remembers carburators...   I'm currently using a 650 dbl pumper on my 351W in my 90' GT (3300lbs w/driver) I'm wondering if its big enough. My engine: -10.5:1 comp. -Comp Cams 280H cam. 0.512 gross lift, 280 dur. -AFR 185cc heads. 2.02 int.,1.60 ex...

    Driveline vibration

That's the one I have my eye on, already priced it out.:nice:

    Driveline vibration

I'm sure this is a thread that has already been covered at some point but... A few months ago, I installed a set of lower trailing arms in my 90 GT, after which, I discovered a vibration through my shifter at about 60mph, especially under exceleration. I had no vibration before the change...

    Speedo Gear

Thanks for the help. I'm pretty sure the guy that installed my gears put in a 23 tooth. He said I should be close, but my speedo reads about 15% high.

    Speedo Gear

I'm running a T-5 with 4.10 gears and 26" tires. Anybody know what speedo gear I need or where I can get one?

    Not So Good Vibrations

You need to check the pinion angle. With the tranny change and the driveshaft mod, you may have altered the angle the rear pinion aligns with your driveshaft. I'm not sure about a 73' Stang, but the fox mustangs(79-93) should be between 2 and 4 degrees 'nose down'. That's the pinion pointing...

    90/10 struts

I've thought about the dial-type adjustables, but I've heard they aren't as aggressive for straight drag.(90/10)

    90/10 struts

Yes, I have subframe connectors, but I have NOT taken off the sway bar yet.

    90/10 struts

Nice!!! I have 4.10's and MT street ET radails too. I was considering adjustables in the front, but really, the car is only set to go in a straight line now anyway.lol 90/10's it is. Thanks for the info everbody:canada:
