I just checked a couple sources and they said 3.27 rear end from the factory.

    1994-1998 Roush Body Kit

CruizinConcepts has a kit. I can't speak for their quality, but there is always going to be some work needed. http://www.cruizinconceptswholesale.com/proddetail.asp?prod=ROUSHBODYKIT9498WSE

Thinking about coming back to classics

Ah, then you should go for it; if you don't mind parting with the '99. I think I would miss my '01 if I got rid of it. I couldn't stand driving a newer economic car daily. I do understand the temptation of spending money on the wrong car though.

Thinking about coming back to classics

If it were me, I would keep the '99 as a daily driver and find a classic project to be your weekend car. I did something similar, except I started with the '66 i6 and didn't sell it. Instead I got an '01 so I could retire the '66 as a daily driver.

    Something a little different

I believe he was referring to something different on his car when he said that. Looks good.

    18's on a lowered Mustang

You're right; of those two pictures, the lowered one looks better. I've been contemplating 17s or 18s over and over as well. Another factor besides cost (of rims and tires), is weight.

    18's on a lowered Mustang

I believe he is saying he did like the 18s better, only because the car was lowered. Now that he realizes this, he is wanting 17s again. Although if you look at his other post, he is planning on lowering his Mustang.

    Black Rims, White Car hmm

For a second there, I thought the title of the thread was Black Car, White Rims hmm. Then I thought, hmm... what if? Anyway, do what you like. I think hotstang's looks way better with black rims.

Need Advice Quick Please! - Car at Ford Waiting for me to call back

If they are ripping you for $700 on the intake, I would never ask how much a performance intake from them would be. Seriously, I just did this mostly by myself (I did have assistance getting the new gaskets and intake on). In my backyard. It is not hard at all. You'll need a Haynes/Chilton...

4.6 newb....im from the fox 5.0 side of stangnet

He started at the front center. Most people line up the spoiler's edge with the wheel well and work from there. If you check the side pic you can see the edges aren't lined up. It looks fine though, whichever way you go. Those deep dish mach 1 rims are awesome by the way.

Edelbrock's Victor Jr. 4.6L Intake Manifold

Just the kind of input I was looking for. Thank you sir! I still don't want a stock intake though.

Edelbrock's Victor Jr. 4.6L Intake Manifold

Hey guys, I've just had my (P)lastic (I)ntake Manifold crack at the thermostat housing on my 2001 (112k miles), and lost most of the coolant. After I check to see if the engine is still usable, I would like to use the Edelbrock Manifold. The car is completely stock and I would be aiming for...

Yay or nay, considering trading in my Cobra

I love the styling of the Machs and they have similar power to the Cobra. I really like black and don't mind the IRS (though yours doesn't have it). In your shoes that would be a hard decision for me. But coming from a GT, it would be a no-brainer. Get what you desire. It's the car you want...

She's probably hefty or a swinger. Either way she doesn't give a **** about anybody. I've had my fair share in both my cars. Can you imagine the amount of **** that must not be given to smack the **** out of a 1966 Mustang? I hope they all burn.

    Plasti Dip

I haven't really thought about getting black rims, but since this thread, I figured what the hell. I wasn't sure I'd like it, but I'm digging it so far. Dooo it Nightfire, at least it's not permanent. I have gotten nothing but compliments since I did it.

    Painted, finally!

Nice! I really like the shaved cowl and ducktail spoiler. I almost got the guy who painted mine (years ago) to do the cowl, but I'm glad I didn't. He probably would have F'ed that up too.

    Plasti Dip

I can't get it out. lol. It's a dirty white/brown look on the sides that hit. I can just peel it and do it over.. but I'm too lazy. Also, looking good d98gt. :nice:

Fun facts: If you have 3+ coats, it's possible to lightly sand imperfections out. (did it on my scoop) Don't let wax touch it. (accidently hit my emblems)
