    Thanks, guys. After I wrote the post a friend at work told me Autozone had them in stock. Purchased at 7.99 each plus 4 bucks for the torx bit cause I didn't want to wait any longer. Appreciate the help as I never replaced one.

    Are there supposed to be bushings on the door latch posts? Doors won't stay securely latched and pop slightly open. If so, are the bushings available seperately or do I have to purchase the whole thing?

    Thanks for the replies. What I'm getting is a thumping on the floorboard while in drive and foot on the brake. Everyone tells me that it's either the pump or the torque converter. I thought just replacing the trans, whatever the problem is would be better than trying to have it fixed. Thoughts?

    Heater box not heating

    I had the same problem in my 72 stang. Turned out that one of the fittings the heater hose connected to was plugged. I stuck a screwdriver in there and whoosh! Instant heat.
