    Used Exhaust Bad Idea

    They are a glorified muffler delete, so unless they are physically damaged there is nothing bad about buying them used. There isn't anything in there to wear out.

    Cooling fans are a large electrical load, so the starting current is somewhat taxing on the alternator when they kick on. Don't think twice about it.

    Turn it off so you don't look like an asshat when you launch and the car falls on its face. I put the AdvanceTrac in sport mode too, not that it matters in this situation, but it's just as easy to set.

    I just took the 5.0 to a test & tune and didn't even come close to your stock times. The trap speeds were nearly there (112.xx), but my 60' times were abysmal. How were you getting away with 1.8 60'? I couldn't even get it under 2. Also, the amount of wheel hop I was getting was disgusting...

    Maybe you should order a set of Baer's or Brembos. ;) If you're really bent on keeping them, I think black would look better. That is a lot of red! I think black would tie in better with the hockey stick.

    You're actually at higher risk of damaging your $800 lens with that on there. The lens is meant to take a beating, but if something strikes the thin glass of the UV filter, it is very abrasive when it shatters and is more likely to damage your lens glass than if you didn't have it.     It seems like H-pipes aren't as common in 5.0 exhaust set ups. Any reason for that? I generally like the muscle car sound of H-pipes compared to the raspy Nascar sound of X-pipes.

    Okay So What Is The Best Exhaust For No Drone Inside Car

    I have Magnaflow mufflers on there and they don't drone at all. Quiet when you're cruising, loud when you need it. I am getting a set of Roush axle backs as well, so I can change them out on the fly. This is my first Mustang, and the idea of being able to unbolt the mufflers is pretty cool.
