anyone ever tried this? drilling drums?

I've had mine bind a couple of times with a 1" drop. Pretty freaky. You're in a turn, and all the sudden, it doesn't want to stop turning. I really had to fight it to bring it back straight. I'm lucky a car wasn't in the next lane because I assumed it.

anyone ever tried this? drilling drums?

It's not recommended to even drill rotors. They have the potential to heat crack around the holes due to rapid cooling. Forget about drilling drums. They're still drums no matter how you drill 'em.

So I turned 40 today, is something supposed to get better now? :D

Well I'm clicking 40 this year too in June. I haven't been able to touch my car either, then again I have two boys at home and riding the quads on the weekend is priority with them. Got plenty to do but like it or not, my priorities have changed a bit. Still love the Stang, but it isn't going...

what well known muffler shop did this...?

I would have a serious time with my F350 crew long bed in that state. There's just not many places I can pull this thing in forward. As far as the exhaust, I'm pretty much dumb founded. But I definately would have never left there without dealing with that!

    My '69 Convertible was Overhauled

Taxes Nah. They didn't receive the car until the new year, so the taxes were not the biggest issue on the front side. They just figured everyone in the family could own one for the price of selling one. Personally, I'm one for quality, not quantity. I'm not completely sure how the taxes...

    My '69 Convertible was Overhauled

That's good to hear! Enjoy it! Expect a few problems to work through. Hopefully they'll be minor. Nobody can build a car in 7 days without some problems. Their so called safety inspection is basically nut & bolting the car if you're lucky. IMO a small price to pay for an absolutely...

    My '69 Convertible was Overhauled

They were just testing the waters. They didn't even have a garage at their house. It was converted to a room. So the car sat here at the shop. They didn't have the resources to deal with the problems that they encountered. They didn't have a vehicle to tow it around to shows etc. So they opted...

    My '69 Convertible was Overhauled

One more thing, I had Barry and Brents Overhauled Gambler 514 in my showroom for a about 6 mos. Then they sold it. Please just keep the damn car and don't cash in. You'll may never have a car like this again so keep it, take care of it, and don't let it out of your site :)

    fiberglass hood help

The hoods on the shelf measure correctly so this one must not have cured all the way before packaging and shipping. That's the only explanation I can imagine. This can happen in the colder weather if there's not enough catalist in the resin.

    fiberglass hood help

Can't speak on behalf of MP or Maier Racing. Maier does the same thing with our feedback as he does with all of yours. I'm specifically talking about the FSI line in which we have a direct hand in bringing in cars, doing fitting, adjust, re-fitting, adjust and get these products as close as...

    fiberglass hood help

Well we actually give a crap! We've been working with Scott to determine the actual problem. Any problems we find with the FSI line are forwarded directly to the manufacturer to make any necessary adjustments. Most of the problems that we find are with the individual cars. But in some rare...

    fiberglass hood help

Scott What color was the hood you received? Curious of the manufacturer! Do you have reproduction fenders? Is there gaps in the back where the fender meets the cowl? 1/8 of an inch on each side would increase the gaps between the hood and the fenders 1/4". It's not likely that the...

    Adjustible Motor Mouonts

Love the added adjustability. But the side brackets that sandwich the bushings are half the thickness of the tcp ones. They actually flex when you tighten them down. The tcp ones do have adjustment but not nearly as much as the rm one, but the tcp's are way beefier!
