    How wide are your rear rims. The car is mainly a street car with a couple 1/4 mile runs during the summer. If I stay with 15 the tires have to fit on an 8 inch wheel. The previous owner put a 265 tire on them and they bulged on the sides

    I'm not sure if it has isolators. All I know is it has the pro kit springs. It has 225/50/15's in the front and 225/60/15's in the back. Since it's cheaper I might just go with a 255/60/15 on the back so I have a wider tire. Right now my fronts appear wider than the rears. Any ideas on a good...

    With eibach springs should the car have this much of a rake to it:shrug: I am planning on getting 17 sc wheels in 6 months and was wondering if going from a 60 series tire to a 45 series will drop the rear enough to notice. Would going with black sc wheels look ricer on a white car?

    Fuel Pump

    My car did the same thing during the summer. The car would shake at slow speeds coming up to a stop. The fuel pump ended up going out. I went with a walbro 255lph and car runs 100 times better.:nice:

    The a/c and heater are long gone and the only vents that work are the ones for the defroster. A mechanic told me another cable under the hood that was cut was for the cruise control and that cable looks like a pic of a cruise control cable. Hopefully that makes sense:shrug:

    Was looking under the hood today and noticed this tube that says vac but isn't hooked up to anything. It goes into the firewall. Anybody know what this is and what should be hooked up to it.

    Not sure if anyone remember but in october my car stopped running. After finally saving up the money i had it towed to a shop and found out the fuel pump went out. Ended up going with a walbro 255lph fuel pump. Now the car hold constant fuel pressure instead of dropping and is actually running...

    update After finally getting the money for a shop to look at the car, it turns out it was the pump that went out. The mechanic tried to sell me a stock oem pump for 140, I said no and went to 50resto and picked up a walbro 255lph pump for 115. All together it cost 350 to fix. Thank you all for...

    AOD's, are they that slow?

    Mine is the same way. Same gears and feels like a tank off the line but once it gets to almost 3 grand it pulls like there is no tomorrow. On downshifts to pass It snaps your neck good.:nice: That was when it was running, it hasn't ran in 3 weeks

    Update: Still can't find the problem and today when my stepdad were looking at the car we noticed that the coil looks like something burned next to it cause it has black dust all over it. Also he unplugged one of the spark plug wires from the distributor to see if it is getting any...

    Where is the starter located. Tomorrow I am going to try to check the fusilble links. If that doesn't work I will buy a new relay
