    I went out to start my car on friday and instead of hearing the hum of the fuel pump coming on I get silence. It tries to start but it wont turn over.     sorry for the lack of updates, I dont have internet for my phone so I cant email the video off my phone. My stepdad rode in the car today and after he listened to the noise he said it is predetonation. So tomorrow we are going to set the timing at 10 to see if that helps. Currently it is set at 12.

    bad news. lately the motor has been making a noise when it is under a lot of load going up hill and it sounds like something knocking. It only does it in third gear when there is load on the motor. My stepdad thinks it might be a crankshaft bearing. If that is the case is the motor a ticking bomb?

    I ordered a stock shifter off of ebay and it should be hear middle around friday. The transmission is doing better since we adjusted the fuel pressure. Not sure if that is why but it downshifts better and holds the gears longer. Going to 3.55 gears will get the car into the powerband...
