    I had mine off when I did my overlays and I tried to clean both sides of the plastic. It was better but there were still some small scratches and spots on it. Maybe the rubbing compound will work, but I've never tried it.

    I ran them on my 97GT with the stock midpipe. It was pretty loud and had a good tone cruising, and they would gurgle on deceleration which I liked. Some people don't like it. If I could do it again I'd try them with an o/r midpipe since I like it loud:D

    Home Depot has rubber couplings and reducers for plumbing, but you can also by silicone couplings online. RPS comes to mind. RPS Silicone Hoses | RacePartSolutions.com

    Replacing stock exhaust

    I'd try to get everything off without hacking it up first- you might be able to sell the stock stuff on craigslist or something to make some quick money. If they're being a hassle and you're replacing all of it, then I'd go to the Sawz-all and just be done.
