    Mass air is probably easier to tune, and for your street car numbers, the stock block will be fine. For a street/track car, I'd go aluminum heads, and forced induction. If you went that route (FI), I would definitely recommend mass air. Welcome aboard :)

    If the bolts have never come off, they're going to be stuck pretty well. PB Blaster and let it soak. If that doesn't loosen them up, more PB Blaster and more soaking:D Worst case, get a breaker bar on them (if you can reach) but you don't want to snap the heads off.

    I would check for dry rot before putting them on. Old tires can lose their integrity as the tread may separate from the rest of the tire...

    Right the Borla's should be a muffler, but the Magnapacks are not a traditional muffler shape. See the way the pipes are bent out to account for the lack of an offset? That's why I'm not sure if just welding them in will work with the rest of the Borla parts.

    The magnapacks are a straight design, as opposed to a muffler which has an inlet and outlet. You could have it welded in, but I'm not sure if the tailpipes have the right angle because they're designed for an offset.

    Was the car actually revving at 3k or was it just the tach? If the car was idling that high, check out the surging idle checklist. Clean the IAC first then move on to the TPS.
