    It should be close enough to the length of a 65 manual drive shaft length, C4 shaft is a little shorter IIRC. But has the diff yoke been changed any time in history?

    auto to manual conversion

    I'd look at a TKO 500/600 vs the cost of a T5 and the internals upgrade. Could you do the upgrade or would a shop have to do the upgrade. Outside labor costs money. The T5 will be just a little better fit than the TKO, but the TKO is a much stouter tranny.

    I have the original Wilwood's on one of the cars, and did have to go to the 15's with more backspacing. How much more are the "upgraded" Wilwoods. The closer you get to 1K, the more I'd think about the SSBC or Baer's; that way you're track ready if you ever decide to go that route.

    Was the switch attached to the metal dash? Maybe that's where it's grounding out. Mine are actually attached to the "cardboard" glove box. Theoretically(because it should already be grounded) you could drop it from the dash and let it hang and see if you blow fuses then.....

    Is this the the Extreme Energy Cam? I installed the XR-268-R (roller) cam. This is basically a 351W cam and uses a late model spark plug configuration. (BTW I wiped out the cam early too)

    Quick Rewiring ?

    There's a yellow wire that goes to the "A" With a pigtail coming off going to the radio condensor. This wire traces back to the solenoid and then goes into the dash through a 7 pin plug connector. There's a green w/red stripe going to the "S" and there's a white wire going to the "F"
