    1968 Fuel Sending Unit Replacement

You can change it without removing the tank. Hopefully you have a drain. Be prepared to get gassed!

    67 mustang aluminum radiator

Its a drop in (if you're going with the 67 direct fit) you don't need any brackets.

    67 mustang aluminum radiator

Northern also has a drop in Aluminum, just bought one. www.streetortrack.com has a excellent price on them right now. (others may too) Billgear is a poster also.

    Which Transmission?

What gear ratio are you running? Guessing that the 347 makes at least 350 RWHP @ 20% parasitic loss = appx 430 FWHP.(YMMV) You should either run a TKO 500/600 or a toploader if you want manual. A five speed gives you the best of both worlds, but the toploader is more vintage.

cost for a 6 cylinder to 8 conversion

Are you also talking brakes? If I were to have a 500 HP motor in my car I'd want the best brakes available. Being that it's a 69/70, I don't know what's available for it except Baer, SSBC, and Wilwood and for those you're going to pay between $600 and $1500. You're going to need springs...

    66 brake problem

What do you mean bleed at the same time, you can only do one at a time????? Also, every time you take a line off the distribution block, you're letting air back into the system. Leave them all hooked up. I always start at the passenger rear, driver rear, passenger front and driver front.

    Another steering column question

Not exactly sure what you mean by dd shaft. (could just be brain dead this am) The 66 steering box and shaft are one piece and 3/4 inch. Are you asking if you can convert it to a 68 style, with a rag joint type setup? You won't be able to use a 66 box that way unless you have a 66 steering...

Best year(s) for a track mustang

I have a 66 coupe track car and am just finishing up on a 68. Other than the 2 inches more width in the engine compartment and torque boxes, there's not really that much difference. It truly depends on your overall goal and how radical you want to get with the weight, suspension etc. I chose...

Traction Master Bars - '65 Install

Oil pan and front assembly: 331 stroker

What kind of pan are you going with? A recent poster here mentioned he got what he thought was an oem style pan, but was deeper. He needed to add more oil to get to the pickup tube. If you're going to go with a larger pan---don't forget the correct pickup. Also, they'll tell what gasket to...

    BRAKE HELP NEEDED! BIG PROBLEMS!

I'd call master power and see what they say, They sold you a conversion kit that's supposed to work so it should. (yeah right-sarcasm intended not toward you though) There are kits available to work on a 66, NPD show 2 on page 46 of their 2006 catalog. They're not cheap however. Occasionally...

    Trunk Rear seat divider

I put one in a 66. Its really going to do much in the event of a catastrophice rear end collision as the fuel can still slosh over the wheel wells and other location, but it might stop some of it.

    Axle lubrication question

By inner bearings, do you mean the bearings on the differential itself? There are no other inner bearings, and as the other poster mentioned the outers are sealed.

    temp sending unit

I've had the same thing happen twice on my 66, except it did it to all the gauges. Only lasted a couple seconds and was back to normal. Never did figure out what caused it, haven't had it happen in a while now though.
