cap rotor and fuel filter are already new, just replaced the filter 3 weeks ago, plus 4's gonna get taken back, put them n the car, and as soon as i started the car it ran funny, going back for either some autolites or the accel plugs
well its saturday and i figured i didnt have much else to do, but work on the mustang, so i went out and got me a set of bosch platinum +4s, new accel 8mm wires, some oil and a oil filter, has anyone had any experience or problems with the +4s?
haha nah thats the hood that came with the car when i bought it, im trying to sell it actually, figured i would take it off when some1 would want the ugly thing, stock hook is n the background, but i gotta to do a lil body work to it
Fusor 142 Extreme Plastic Repair, we use it all the time at work, nothing works better for plastic, sandable, and paintable http://www.lord.com/Home/ProductsServices/Adhesives/FusorAutomotiveAftermarketProducts/Products/PlasticAdhesives/tabid/3401/Default.aspx
i guess it should be the same either way, its just a pain working under that tight dash work area, but yeah be SURE to take off that rubber grommet, and grind the tabs. if not you will be working forever and prob still never get the cable on.
the easiest way to do it is to hook the cable to the quad first. then hook it to the fork, unhook the fork and push the cable in a lil, hook it to the quad, then go under the car and hook to the fork
just got everything on mine back together, def go with the oem style none adjustable cable, and a firewall adjuster, i have the steeda adjuster and quad, works great now, and as stated above def go with the cable from Maximum Motorsports cable
tried that, moved it 2 the 3rd hole on the quad, and it would go in gear, but it was hard, so i backed it out some more, and it was fine for a few mins then got back hard, im guessing the cable is just shot
