Full length headers CHEAP , ceramic coated for $347 bucks , same design as Hookers

I am sorry to be the pessimist, but this really sounds too good to be true. My guess is that they are the same design, but use thinner gauge metal and a cheaper coating. I sure hope I am wrong though, but 99.9% of the time you get what you paid for. Lets hope this is the 0.1% :nice:

How does a chip maintain a different A/F than the stock stoichiometric ratio of 14.7?

So, basically what you are saying is that when you have your PCM reflashed/programmed they minimize the effect of the O2 sensor by emphasizing the other variables (or de-emphasizing the O2 if you want to look at it that way) that also help the PCM determine a/f. So that way the O2 sensor is...

How does a chip maintain a different A/F than the stock stoichiometric ratio of 14.7?

But the O2 sensor is the only thing that is really used in closed loop to determine the main a/f. If it was not that important why would it be used at all. Maybe you need to look over those links you posted. Here is a paragraph from the one link that really points out how the closed loop...

How does a chip maintain a different A/F than the stock stoichiometric ratio of 14.7?

Yeah, but you cannot measure an a/f other then rich or lean about 14.7. The oxygen sensor is not that precise. Fine if it could measure the exact a/f, but it cannot. If you cannot measure the a/f other then rich or lean about 14.7 how do you get the computer to do some other a/f. The closed...

    Mustang GTR-40

I really think they just do it for show. I cannot see what the major performance increase would be with dual inlets. One large inlet can flow more then two half the size. Smaller ones would have more velocity, but I real do not think that maters since it still has to go through the plenium. I...

Anyway to get into the 12's N/A or really close??

Yeah, but the important thing here is A FEW. Is it possible to make it into the 12's without 15" drag radials or slicks and stock susupension, sure, but is it very likely NO. I am sure my car could hit the 12's right now if every thing was just right. I hit 13.277 a year ago, and I have...

cost to replace stock rear end with a better one please reply

Eaton posi $400 31 spline axles $250 Gears? $150 Fluid $10 New bearings and seals? $90 Labor? $150 to $400 Could be as chaep as $810, or as much as $1300. Those are just resonable esitmates that you can go by. I just rebuilt my rear end and those numbers I feel are pretty accurate.

Carbon Fiber hoods un-painted too ricey?

I am sorry but if you do not call it rice then you just have $hity taste. Hi my name is stupid. I have a red car, but I have a black/gray hood. Oh wait, it is carbon fiber so it is ok  I have seen several cars that were not black that had cf hoods, and IMO it looked absolutely...

The 96 one I listed seems to be a different part number. I looked all over the flowtech website, but could not find anything about 96-04 headers. Maybe some one just needs to call them and find out.

How does a chip maintain a different A/F than the stock stoichiometric ratio of 14.7?

I read thos earticle, and it did not help. Ok, I can see maybe a chip intercetping the data and changing it to fool the PCM. Maybe I should of been more clear, but what about having your PCM relfashed or reprogrammed using something like th SCT software. Are they completely disabling the...

Anyway to get into the 12's N/A or really close??

12's are possible from a bolt on GT, but it is not as easy as many think. micool has the right thinking. All the power in the world is useless unless you can get it to the ground properly. Cars that run 12's with bolt-ons for power mods, have drag race suspensions. I get really tired of...

    Which first, suspension or power?

IMO, all the power in the world is useless with out traction and/or handling. As you can see by my sig I have what appears to be a pretty fast car, but 90% of my mods are NOT for power. I would suggest a mild suspension upgrade that will not drain your budget. I would suggest springs $200...

Argh... My new tires look small :(

Don't seat it. You bought the right tires. You just need to lower it. The lower profile tires compaired with the large wheel gaps are what makes it look "bad." It is basically an optical illusion. Lower it about an inch or so and it will look like a new car, and you will be very happy...

How does a chip maintain a different A/F than the stock stoichiometric ratio of 14.7?

The title basically says it all. From what I know the oxygen sensors are only good at measuring the a/f as either Lean or Rich. For a stock car the PCM tries to alternate evenly between these two so that on average the a/f is at the stoichiometric ratio of 14.7. That is if the car is rich it...

    One wheel burn out problem

I had the same problem with my car. It was the clutch packs in the differential. I replaced them with a new set, and every thing was fine. The clutches cost about $70, and the install was not too hard, mostly just messy.

Just give them a call if you are having a problem. They are a big place so it is not impossible for them to have lost your order, but rare. I have order from them several times, and so far nothing but :nice:
