    So here we go............ A friend of mine just did a TrickFlow Upper half kit. Heads,cam,intake, 1.6 rockers, 30lb injectors, underdrives, flaming river manual rack. Smog pump and hardware, A/c and hardware, egr and hardware have all been removed. Pretty much all the things that can be removed...

    Major issue with Transgo shifkit

    Without a doubt go with a Lentech valve body. Electronic O/D delete and whiplash shifts. one word= AWESOME!!!!

    Two things. The summit battery kit will not get you through tech at the track. Also, I used 1 gauge welding cable, its cheaper than battery cable and alot more flexible.     New to the board, question about smog pump

    I would make sure you have a good tune and your cats are in good shape. The smog pump doesnt do as much as the cats do. Put in a 190+ thermostat. Also ad some HEET to the gas tank. You should be alright.

    Rocker chatter. Pretty Common. Double check your rockers and make sure their still tight. Also, what kind of valve cover are you using? Are the rockers possibly hitting the covers? Just a thought..........

    Hows the timing?, Did you check the plugs to see if its running rich? What MAF are you using?

    I bought a griffin from summit. Do a search. As far as the fan,seems like everyones doing the junkyard Taurus fan with a controller. I use a Pro Form from summit with a thermostat and manual switch

    Probably the best seat of the pants upgrade you can get. If you are a little close to the limiter going through the traps, just by a little taller tire next time.
