Headers glowing with new intake and carb. Hard starting.

Hi! What are you running for ignition, plug gap might be too big for your ignition system. My 351w was over heating; headers were over 600 degrees at idle, engine was really rich at idle, soothed plug and could not get my carb to lean out at idle. I got a duraspark ignition on it and they call...

Restomod Wiring: Painless Vs American autowire

Hi! One more option you could consider since you are doing a restomod is to run the wire outside the engine bay to clean it up. I plug the fire wall hole and put all the electronics under the battery tray. The only wire you see are the one going to the alternator, coil and engine sending unit.

    u-joint size?

Hi! your curent rear end as a 1100 series or 1260 series u-joint, you need a conversion u-joint, if you need 1310 to 1260 conversion spicer 2140x should work for you. If you need 1310 to 1100 might be out of luck. You said good buy to that 302, you should let go that 7.25 rear end go before it...

    351 Engine swap Exhaust issue

Hi! Are you using heddmen headers 88660? I had similar problem with mine but on the driver side. One side was over 1 inch closer to the trans than the other side and one side is about 1 inch lower. I don’t think they do any quality control. They must bent them, slap them on the flange and weld...

Hi! I got a Versailles rear end as well, the piston on the Versailles caliper are adjustable. Rear end gears?

Hi! All depend on what gear ratio you got in the t56, is it 2.97 first gear and 0.62 sixth gear or 2.66 first and .50 sixth. the first one is like a t5z first and fith gear and most people recomand 3.70 gear and if you got the second you could go with 4.10 gears.
