    I think if it was the water pump the engine temp would be over 230 degrees ..212 degrees is kind of warm but it's not running hot. I think that fan not coming on is your problem... what is temp is the fan set at to come on ? Also an easy way to check the water pump... with the engine idle...

    Did you turn your heater on high when you filled up the radiator? and did you replace/tighten the cap before the coolant got warm? This one is stupid..but did you ever replace the cap with a new cap?

    Did you check the computer ground behind the battery? Also did you check the ground for the 02 sensors before you remove the computer to check it out?

    Are you running an aftermarket ignition box or coil like msd?Because that may be a problem too also you could have a bad or loose ground wire.

    okay since your car was switched to mass air have you removed the vacuum hose from the bap/map sensor? Also have you checked the computer ground? I have the same code reader as you and if you have the key on run and press the test button it should read any stored codes.

    Your throttle may be sticking at times when you drive ..check your cable at the throttle body and throttle blade to see if it's sticking when you move it.

    Could be moisture on the cable/rust causing it to shift harder. Does your car still have the inspection/dust cover on the bell housing?

    I would be looking at the wires for the fuel pump/relay. If your car was running one day then the next day it does not run and had no/little power at the relay wires..i would be looking at those wires.

    Did you remove the ground battery cable before you did the work? Also did you make sure the distributor was marked before you replace the TFI to make sure the timing would be correct when the new stuff was installed..your timing could be too far advanced.

    Have you checked for any codes? ..it could be a bad ECT sensor or TFI module if it does it when the engine is warm.

    Clean with brake clean and make sure ever thing is clean and dry and install the gaskets dry.
