Where did you decide to attach your FMS Voltmeter"s power and light wires?

I hear there are many choices...but where exactly did you guys splice into the light and power for these gauges? (Pillar mount: OP/Temp/Volt)) I heard that I can jam the wire in with fuses. I like that idea. Is there an ignition fuse? Would that spot produce key-on power? Gonna dive in...

    Goin to Junkyard tomorrow

:nice: I passed on the seat. But got a nice hatch for $125 and for another $25 I got a seatbelt (in blue!), speaker grills and map light that I have been searching for since 1990. :nice:

    Ignition Timing WAY off!

"when you point the timing light at the line" Do you mean the pointer? There is a little metal pointer that you should be pointing at and seeing how the lines move to the left and right of it as you rotate the dist.

    Goin to Junkyard tomorrow

Sounds good. I can forget the mass air as I don't have the mods which require it yet anyway. I can get new quad shocks from summit. I'll look for the map light, seat, seatbelt and hatch :) Thanks Gary

    Goin to Junkyard tomorrow

I called and they said they had hatches and I should come look at them. They didn't look it up so I would not be surprised to show up and fine NONE there. They said it was all on a rack. Why is it difficult to get some things...do you think they have seats, seatbelt etc?

    Goin to Junkyard tomorrow

In Jackson NJ CH AUTO 732-928-3713 They were the closest place that had a replacement hatch for my LX. I figure I should get a few more things while I'm there. I need Quad Shocks for example, mine leak. Is that a good junkyard part? Can't get them new can you? I also wanted to get a...

I think my car has the impression I'm mad of money

Well Hissin' , I probably should thank you for clearing that up for DMAN. I just remember reading in a earlier post he needs to "learn" how to bleed the brakes. Not knowing how means he wouldn't get the DOWN UP commands and echo in the bleeding process. I was going "braking" direction like...

Idle and check engine light problems, help plz =[

The autozone/pep-boys alternators are crap. The new 130 amp and up 3G's are really good. don't you think? Beefy, quality right out of the box.

    Spongy Brakes?? Tried everything!!

Master must be bench bled free of bubbles prior to bleeding of entire system. The brake pedal does not push the piston as much as you can on a bench with a dowl. Bleeding kit has hoses which recirculate the fluid and you pump with a dowl and tap the side with a tool to help dislodge the bubbles.

Question for anyone that has an Autometer triple pillar

So the screw only holds the new pillar to the old pillar (you drill first right) ? or does the screw go in a stock hole?

    oil pressure drops!!!

Interesting... Did you drive a car where the oil pump was installed without the gasket and the car exhibited those symptoms?? What do you expect the builder to say?? "Oh, I never use gaskets!", or he might say: "Gee, I thought I had a few extra parts!" Just change the pump )(or have it...

    bad ground problem....I think.

If the problem existed before the alternator it cannot be the voltage regulator as they come as a unit... More proof it is a battery. Any quality battery you like will work. I have never purchased an optima but I hear good things about them. what does one cost>?
