    Keep in mind that even though the hood itself is cheaper compared to the GT hood, the 2 black plastic vents run around $220 each MSRP,,, so if you get the GT500 hood, you should ask for the price for the complete package :flag:

    Exactly why I had to go this route. I recenlty recieved some insider info regarding the Shelby GT500 from Ford that I can not reveal (yet!), but will in time :rolleyes:

    Thanks again everyone for all your comments (good or bad ) . As far as the cost, I paid roughly $2500 for all the parts and another $800 for the paint. I am only half way there as I still need to shell up $5900 down the road for the KB Supercharger.

    Vert or not vert, its plain ugly. I think of all the retro muscle cars besides the stang, the Challenger looks good also.. Attempts on making good looking car went to h3ll when Charger, GTO and Camaro were designed.

    If you think that there are going to be dealers sittin on GT500s that they can sell, youre wrong. Even though this car has a higher production than 03/04 Cobras, the demand for the GT500 is alot more than you think. I think by the time all the GT500's are sold, 90% of them were sold way above...

    Just got the rear bumper in today ( after 3 weeks of backorder). Will hopefully get it painted Monday and I will post some new pics as soon as I have installed it.
