    I actually ended up driving all over town for quite a while (small town!). I only found one shop in town that had the size I needed. It turned out the tire they had in stock was the BFG KDWS so I ended up buying two of those for the rear. $330 mounted and balanced.

    alpine with stock 460 amps wow!

    From the research I have done the 70-5510 is for the 2000 Mustang. They also do not list it on the Metra website but I did find it at another online retailer. The 2001 Mustangs and up use a different harness. I emailed Metra and they actually responded in less than half an hour.

    Thanks I actually did email Metra and they got right back to me. The adapter I needed if anyone else is looking is the 70-5510. This adapter is not on the Metra website but I did find it at "thezeb.com"

    I have searched this forum and found the Metra 70-5519 adapter for putting an aftermarket HU in a 2001 with a Mach 460. Does anyone know if this adapter will also work with a 2000 with the Mach 460?
