    I didn't fix it, personally. This problem happened many years ago before I knew anything about the cars at all. An adjustment of the fuel regulator sorted it out though.

    You could also move your door pin in just a tad. These cars really loosen up over time and the door may be shutting just out a bit.

    When I buy a fox, that is the first thing I look at. I had to do this to a car I had some years ago and basically did the same thing.

    Buy the cobra suspension, do it yourself. It is not too difficult and IRS's can be had for fairly cheap.

    The thing I find with the Bassani is that it is a nice subdued sound at idle and normal drive conditions, but then you crack it open and people start jumping.

    Easiest way to the front bumper cover screws is from underneath the car while it is jacked up. Even then, they are a bit of a pain in the arse.

    I am running a full Bassani exhaust on my 1988 Modular coupe with the 03 Drivetrain. I can't tell you about performance gains as I haven't had it out yet, but I can tell you it sounds mean as hell.

    Ticking once warmed up (not header gasket)

    Without hearing the noise, it is hard to tell. However, a lot of people will mistake a ticking noise as a lifter when it is actually a noisy fuel injector. Just something else you can check out.
