    I have the WMS as well and love it. I live in the rain ( pac NW ) and have never had any issue of water getting near the filter. Also I didn't cut the coolant hose, I just turned it arround and made it work.

    I highly recomend the link Michael Yount posted. Daniel Stern is an automotive lighting master. I've gone to his site and done alot of reading and got quite an education. He also answers questions promptly.
