    when I got to looking at my curves, I found that from idle to operational speed, I needed to go to full advance as fast as possible. Used the light springs and heavy weights and disconnected the vaccuum completely.

    you can do the fuctional side scoops..but the rear windows have to be sacrificed. I personally like the 67 1/4s better than any other year. Part of what made me get a 67.

    Yeah, Im no expert, but why would you take the weight off the car to do an alignment...heck I had a good alignment guy that would have me sit in the car for the final "dail in" so it was at true ride height.

    Popping back through the carb is almost always timing related. There may be other stuff going on...but that is where I would focus.... If its crappy and timed right it will go out through the bottom, not the top.

    I dont know. I ditched my vac advance with my MSD drop in distributor. It harmed me trying to use it (while tuning on a dyno) and have no drivablity problems either. I actually roughed up my idle my messing with my idle mixture and idle speed.
