    89 STEERING COLUMN IN A 92

    I have race seats in my stang and it is a pain to get in and out of. so I've got a column out of a 89 that has tilt steering my airbags don't work anyway so figured that could work to my advantage since its FREEEEEEEEE. Is this just a simple swap or do i need to modify some things?:shrug:

    I got mine in a set from UPR they bolt in nice and then I got one of the body guys to weld them in for cheap but I work at a dealer. they also went and added some thick plate steel for extra strength in case i put slicks on one day.:D

    I've had the same issue throttle getting hung at 2-3000 rpm on the hwy. I disconnected the iac and the issue went away completely and replaced the iac and no prob since.:D

    MPG with gears?

    I get about 18-22 mpg but i have 3.27 gears and drive 44 miles one way to work everyday. i have a friend getting about the same with 3.55s and he has about everything done that you can bolt on to it. hope this helps a little bit.:D

    I'M RUNNING THE F CAM WITH STOCK 95 GT HEADS AND NO ISSUES FOR 4 YRS. EVEN GOT STOCK ROCKERS TOO. ONLY THING I'M LACKING IS A SET OF GOOD HEADS AND 1.6 ROLLER ROCKERS. I LOVE THE TOP END IT HAS WITH THIS CAM. FROM 2800 TO 6000 IT PULLS NICE.:D
