    Well after reading this article http://superchevy.com/technical/engines_drivetrain/exhaust/0505phr_exh/index1.html I guess it's claimed that the power levels can be equal with properly tuned open exhaust and the right mufflers. It just seems that unless your making big power it's not worth it...

    Question about differential oil and friction stuff

    A good quality synthetic gear fluid shouldn't need any friction modifier. I have run Redline and Amsoil with no issues. They do recommend if you do get chattering then add the modifier but only if it bothers you. Just make sure your clutches don't go in dry....a rebuild kit is around $50.

    I vote for fuel pump first if still stock and I would be saving for some 24's. Stock injectors are good for 300-350ish N/A hp.

    Cheap upgrade would be 3.27's IMO because most newer stangs come with them so they are a dime a dozen just like 2.73's are to us 5.0 guys. I picked up a set of 3.27's with a track-loc out of a 2002GT for $50 with under 10K on it.

    Some MAF Theory and question...

    Why do you need 24lb injectors? Stock 19lb injectors are good for just over 300hp N/A with the 88lph fuel pump being the weakest link of the HO Mustangs fuel system. If your doing further mods then I would get a aftermarket meter myself for the 24lb injectors.
