    oil capacity

    6 quarts for me thats what my manual states and it reads perfect on the dipstick. 5w20 Castrol syntec.

    tapping noise

    I agree with the above post. My 97GT that had a 2000 GT motor had a tick and it was the injectors. Some Lucas fuel injector cleaner took care of the problem. It was noticlable at idle to 2000 RPM. I think it might be the injectors.

    I think the guy was drunk when he was deciding what color to paint it. Other wise that poor Cobra needs to go to a good home and be saved. I would love to have money to buy it and save it. If I sold my Bird for 10K I would so I would put that money towards that car.

    Rust!!!

    Can you post a couple of pics? Rust is hard to get rid of eventually it will turn to swiss cheese I call it with all the holes.I would sand and paint that area to keep it from getting worse.

    Changed oil but have a question need help!
