    I was qoted $3500 on paint and body. "Car will be ready in two weeks". 19 months and 7K later I got my car back. Good shops take too long because they can.

    suggestions for upgrades one 5.0

    My first modification to any Foxbody is subframes. Then gears. UCA's, LCA's, drive shaft, springs and Bilsteins. But thats me. Seems to make any engine mods much more apparent and useable.

    5.0 max hp

    My iron headed 306 put down 406 on a break in tune. Not the most, but it's fun to drive. We will be going to the dyno soon to make adjustments. I am hoping for 450. Driving it in the rain is a joke. Scary to me. Just something to consider for a dd.

    I love my Coupe. It has taken a long time to make it mine, but it's mine. Comfort was achieved through Flofit. Sound was achieved through a small pulley and a Wolverine 1083.     Anyone else not liking short gears with their 5.0??

    I have 4.10's currently. Not a big fan. Hard to get the car off the line with 17" DR's. The Nitto DR's were absolutely useless. The Mickeys are much better but far from hooking. 3.55's are coming.
