    well when the car is moving it is not that hard to steer the car, try drivin to like 60, and then turn off ur engine and steer....might be a bitch in the parking lots, but thats what muscles are for...also since you are plugging it it will still be hydraulically assisted a tiny bit. victor

    just disconnect ur ps pump from the rack while it is filled with fluid (the rack) and there u go...u got manual steering. This is how i'm doin it when i put my 2.3T in....i moved the alternator to where the PS pump used to be cuz i have a rotated intake, plus it looks more clean. lata victor
