    Alright, you can use your old heads and an old valve to do the notching. Just cut teeth into the valve with an air cut off wheel. Bring the piston to be notched to TDC, put the modified valve ion the head, bolt it on, and chuck up the valve stem in a drill. As far as knowing how far to go...

    Rear brake setup--drum (ranger) or disk (sn95)?

    That's a great price for the brakes. In my opinion the Northracecars brackets are the way to go. FWIW I have riden(?) rode(?) roden(?, whatever) in a fox with the Ranger rear drum upgade in the rear and SN95 brakes up fornt, and it stopped way better than a stock setup.
