Hey y'all! Its been a LONG time since I've been on here! The cobra's been in storage for @ 2 years since I moved from IN to NC. I'm flying back on the 25th and I'll be driving it down here. If I see any of you on the way, I'll give ya a honk! Glad to be back!

    air bag.

    1) yes, the sensors you've removed on the radiator support are for the airbags. They are the crash sensors. 2) there is only 1 "blue box" under the dash for the air bags. It will have a # like F1ZF-14B056-A2A on it. The other "blue box" is probably for your cruise control.

buying an 8.8 assembly with 373's. quick question

Yes, upper control arms attach to each side of the center section. If it does not come with new axle seals, I would certainly put in new ones as well as axle bearings, pinion seal, and if you have to use your old axles, I would get some axle fluid, friction modifier, and silicone.

    Aod, VSS and Speedo Cable

The vss slides into the transmission and secures to the trans. with a bolt through a bracket. The cable then clips into the external end of the vss.

Any one from NC/Im moving from NY

Hey Bolt on 5.0, I moved to Wilmington @ 2 months ago, moved here from IN. I LOVE it! Cost of living varies from the ocean property to the inland. Wilmington itself is kind of expensive to live in, so look outside of the metro area for housing, like Leland, Rocky Point, Burgaw, Castle Hayne...

Help! Air Bag Sensors- Radiator Support!

Removing the bolts will not deploy the airbag, but if you relocate the sensors, your airbag may not deploy if you're involved in an accident. You might want to consider glassing shut the holes in the hood instead....

    Doing timing chain cover gasket...

Sorry, I'd meant to use it on the center bolt as you typically can't rotate the rachet fast enough to break loose the bolt. Otherwise, all you'll be doing is rotating the crankshaft. And using a pry bar to hold the damper in place is

    Doing timing chain cover gasket...

You'll have better success at removing the damper if you have access to air tools. Remove the center bolt and use a damper puller to get it off. Yes, lightly silicone each side of the gasket.
