03-04 Mach 1...Steeda strut tower brace???

the 3 point will not clear any aftermarket CAI that uses a different-than-stock intake tube. The steeda and PHP CAI will clear it because they only use a different air-box. FWIW I only got the STB because I was running with coil-overs...otherwise I would've spent my money elsewhere. And yes...

Can I rebuild a trac-loc diff without the special preload tool?

i've seen in the service manual where it says to use that special tool...but really I think you can either make it your self, or just not use it all. When I pulled mine out there wasn't really any load on the friction discs...they just came apart.

welding axle tubes and torque boxes

just remember if you're using a MIG you'll need to adjust the voltage for the different thickness metals...at some points its pretty thin.

welding axle tubes and torque boxes

it's easiest to remove the whole rear-end for the job...gives you a lot more room. Also, if you have a back seat in, you'll need to remove it along with some of that sound deadning material. I had 5 or 6 wet towels that I layed across the inside of the car. You should be able to remove...

Small Emergency - Stripped Lock Wheel Lug

make sure you're using a 12point 17mm socket with a 1/2" drive and a breaker bar to loosen it. It took me all of 5 mins to remove my wheel locks after I lost the key. Just make sure you hammer it on there far enough.

    Granatelli LCA's

That is my buddy's car. I was at the track with him when the control arm did that. It was a major PITA, it failed around 8 or 9pm and I didn't get back to my house until around 5am. Granatelli initially claimed they didn't make that control arm, then later recanted and said "he must've...

LT's are pretty easy to install...although if you have no experience, I'd pay someone to do it.

    Bullit rear brakes install question

the only major difference is the caliper bracket, moan braces, and rotor. Pulling the axles takes only a few minutes once you've got the brakes removed.

    Eibach Pro-kit question

if you're positive the spring is installed in the a-arm correctly...are you sure you're getting it seated properly up top? I've done a bunch of spring installs and the only thing I can think of is that your spring is installed incorrectly or you just have the wrong one.

    Mach 1 needs help

probably just the clutch... Is it making the noise w/out pushing in the clutch pedal or just whenever you try to engage the gear?

    Squeak coming from front end

That's the easiest way to do it, and doesn't cost you anything if you've already got grease. just make sure you torque 'em back down to spec.

    Please help removing K-Member.

K-member removal... I rented an engine support beam that goes across the top of the engine compartment. After the cross beam was in place and secure I took the nuts off the engine mounts and raised the motor a couple inches via the support beam. since you're just removing the K-member to...

    02 GT Gear Install

Since you're going to have everything out, you might as well REPLACE everything. Buy an 8.8 rebuild kit which will include a new shims, bearings, seals, and races. Also buy a set of axle tube bearings and seals. And get a Trac-lok rebuild kit. Remember to change the gears they'll have to...

    How to remove front rotor?

If it is stuck that bad, and you don't care about the rotor anymore...get a 3lb sledge with a 12" handle and hit it from the inside towards the outside.

Trying to get a more aggressive stance

you can always cut your springs...take about 1/2 a coil off your front springs...it'll drop the front some... Remember on the fronts you have to cut the bottom of the coil...NOT THE TOP...anything less than a coil will not screw up your spring rate or cause the ride to be bouncy...

    ABS light stays on

Well I was a little misleading; what I should have said was that the brake light should illuminate well before the the ABS light. If the ABS light is illuminated due to low fluid it should be well after the brake the light would come on.
