    the 'rubber filled' ones are a 2 peice d/s. near the end, a smaller diameter tube fits into a larger, and it's held in place by rubber. my '68 d/s is like that.

    too little fuel. it started going lean on me for some reason. the bore has alot of slag on it, but doesn't seem to be ruined.

    no, my tracks don't say anything during the t-n-t's, so i try to run as quick as i can.

    the crane lifters are definitely the way to go. i think on the 8.2" blocks, you may need to remove the heads to have room to drop them in.

    mine is a mild steel from s&w. i didn't connect the bars to the subframes because i still use the back seat. i made my harness bar removable for the same reason. the s&w kit was reasonably priced and the fit was good. http://home.neo.rr.com/turbo68/roolbar1sm.jpg...
