    Naturally aspirated

Steen Racing has the 'supercharged' title of 2V power. FoxLake has the top 2V power combo that used to be in Chris Crown's D/R turbo car..... 8.20's @ 160+

    DSS vs VT Longblocks

Actually the S/R DOES come with Hbeam forged rods. Made on the same assembly line as the Manley and Eagle Hbeams. We're engine builders, not assemblers. Very few engine shops do their own machining in house, so DSS and ourselves are one of the rare. If you take time to compare SHM, DSS, VT...

    DSS vs VT Longblocks

Exactly. Either one is more than capable of creating a great engine package. :flag: fwiw..... dss cnc's their own pistons, not sure who makes their rods. :nice:

    DSS vs VT Longblocks

Best thing to do is call both companies, take notes of what it does and does not come with, then make an educated decision based on what the information is. That way, once you drop your money for the investment, you know exactly what you are getting/expecting.

p-51 intake and VT stage 1 cams...how much HP??

If you have that bottom end and want to add a P51 intake, then going anything smaller than the stage2's would be silly. MHO.

    Can a head/cams 2valve outrun a bolt on 4valve

The red car? Food for thought. IF 2 cars have the same body style, same race weight, same gearing, same power, and same driver........... math is math. Both cars should run the same regardless of motor. The ONLY factor would be area under the curve, but this is a hypothectical...

    ONCE ANOTHER CAM QUESTION

IF you anticipate a blower, DO NOT get our n/a cams because they will suck donkey nuts with the blower. Get the blower cams if you're going to be blown down the road. The stage1's are for guys that don't want to change the valvesprings, the stage2's are more aggressive and do require a spring...

PI Headswap & Comp or VT Cams

Don't know about the Comps, as I'm not familiar with their specs. However, our cams work great with nitrous, just go to modulardepot and search for NitroLew's latest results. He was thrilled with how the cams worked with the juice.

PI Headswap & Comp or VT Cams

We've run the stage2's on flat topped stroked motors without ptv issues. The stage 2's were designed for a combo with some added compression, so they'll work well with a headswapped car.

    5.0 stroker

If you have a 96-98 engine block, you'll have to clearance the main saddles on #2,#3 and #4. All the '99-up blocks 'should' be fine, as most company's stroker cranks are a dirivative of the forged Cobra crank. If done properly, strokers make great power and killer midrange/low torque.

    Stroke It or Bore It??????

    Indeed they do. :nice:
  15. VTEngine

    Stroke It or Bore It??????

With stock heads and cams, you'll gain tons of torque down low, but will loose power up top. The stock top end can't support the added stroke. BUT, we tell people to spend money on heads and cams before stroking an engine if they're staying n/a. Big bores are great too. For an n/a street...

    Stroke It or Bore It??????

Fastest 2V - Stroker Fastest 4V - Stroker (with the exception of Mihovetz) You either like them, or you don't. It's that simple.
