    Kenne Bell VS Whipple

OH Hell no. Just another rumor. That comes from the die hard old school types... THERE IS NO BOOST LAG on these V-8 engines! You WILL see gains before you even see boost. I KNOW. We have done dozens a year... Even the F-150s get instant boost. Not many can claim they have USED a Roots...

    Procharger for the '05 GT!

Here here! I love it! Thanks for the info! FYI- The Predator comes with it, and injectors as well. Jim Somers drove their 05 into the 11s with the same code, so I am all over them for information. I will have the FULL scoop in the new product brochures ASAP. This one is DEFINITELY worth...

How do you disable Event Data Recording? New Computer?

ROFLMAO because I just pictured it all... GOOD POST! To qualify this... I have been formally trained in Ford engine controls... So EEC V is smart! Yes, it CAN monitor these inputs, but only for a programmed output under a set of parameters. That is why we are in bed with a former Ford...

    Kenne Bell VS Whipple

I dont think they wanted that to get out. I called them once last year for technical information and a FORD Engineer picked up the phone... LOL! Art is contracted to supply blowers for the GT already, and you can bet the Whipple will end up in the Ford Racing catalog.

    Procharger for the '05 GT!

With the 3-core, we see charge temps within 2 degrees over ambient, even on the dyno with little airflow across it. In most cases, we never see it about 91 degrees. Bear in mind the P and D series are more efficient than the P600b. For example, on an 80 degree night, air entered my air filter...

    87 or 93 Octane

Na, the Moss Magnusson act states the installed aftermarket part has to cause the failure. Burden of proof is on the dealer. And we have SCT tuning software, so calibration is not an issue. Heh!

    Procharger for the '05 GT!

Any stock looking car that does 11s IS a sleeper. Ya, sleepers and the type that wants to tap the oil pan and run without an intercooler. Just try to return that unit to stock if you need service. Looking at their project car now... Latest Motor Trend... They claim Stock: 300/320 and...

    Procharger for the '05 GT!

Best bang for the buck... And the best warranty. All with a guarantee the power will be there. They state a 5 MPH higher trap speed over any other blower! http://www.procharger.com/2005_mustang.shtml My decision is made... 525+ at the wheels? 11 second bolt on? Hell ya! The closest kit...

    Kenne Bell VS Whipple

I agree... I know from experience supercharger manufacturers will not release a kit that makes more power than will be reliable for a daily driver. With that said, I expect the included calibration (Regarding the '04-'05 Mustang and F-150 kits) to be conservative (Pretty rich and not alot...

just bought the saleen 3v supercharger!!

My background is a degree in Automotive Technology and one in Elextronics. 10+ years at dealerships. Ford and GM certified, and an ASE Master. I have always loved blowers, and most recently have been installing, tuning, racing, and dyno testing Modular Fords... F-150s and Mustangs mostly...

just bought the saleen 3v supercharger!!

The warranty is on the system itself. When you see warranties covering the powertrain, there is an aftermarket warranty covering it. Roush is a good example of this. Now, on a different note, I have a contract with a local Ford dealer where we finance the blower in the original...

Anyone want to test 05 hurst shifter?

I definitely would. I own a 2005 5-speed GT. I also have a 2002 F-150 and got a prototype shifter for it as well. Is that Jim's number (Mr. Gasket) you posted?

just bought the saleen 3v supercharger!!

At that power level, I would NOT suggest using the stock injectors. I would suggest at least a 90mm MAF and 42#ers. This comes from experience. We have blown up two 2-valve 4.6s with stock MAFs (80mm). The stock fuel system should support 3-5 or maybe 6 PSI but not 8-10. Again, I want...

just bought the saleen 3v supercharger!!

500 RWHP? As long as the fuel system supports it... In our experience, the KB fuel management systems and chips were less than desirable. We have seen fuel pumps fail and engines blow in the past. I would like to see an A/F graph on that car. Lean makes power, but it is not really safe...

    TOYO tires

I KNOW the Bullitt wheels will fit, so as long as you go 17" or larger, it will clear the rotors on the 05. 16" will NOT fit. The rest will fit whether they show an application for us or not (The base wheel is the Bullitt from older years). Must be 17s and fit the Mustang/Cobra. I am sure...

    87 or 93 Octane

The first question... I specialize in supercharging Fords, so yes, I have spent time in the blower forums. In addition, I am a member of all the truck sites along with about 10 others... LOL! Yes I DO have a line on blowers and turbos and they are very competively priced. I can also provide...

just bought the saleen 3v supercharger!!

It should be reliable. Intercooling is the key. The Saleen setup is pretty sweet. Whipple posted 462, and Procharger posted 525+. None of these companies are in it to blow engines up. You can bet they have conservative tunes, and will be reliable, especially at 5 PSI. More to come as I...

RisingForce- Looks SWEET. What size tires did you go with? What width wheel did you use? I can't tell by the angle of the image, did you use the same size on all 4 corners? My compliments on the color... Looks like we have the same taste!

    87 or 93 Octane

Sorry, I meant to answer that question in my post. No, engine damage is not likely, with a stock car. Higher octane is safer when you advance timing with a device like the X-Calbrator or Predator. You WILL need the additional octane to support the performance mods. NOT doing so CAN damage...
