    I have not found this to be true. I went through three different drivers side Ford tooling fenders and they all either had damage or piss poor fit. I ended up finding original fenders, one was a NOS service piece, they literally dropped in place.

    65 restomod shock tower brace modification?

    I used a spot weld cutter and then dressed off the remaining metal so the towers look like they have never had the stock style braces. Once or two of them were an odd shape and really difficult to use a spot weld cutter so I just pried and twisted it off.

    I like to epoxy first because it can run into seams that the filler will not reach! For the big lap seam I would ask at a local jobber or even the shop that is going to do the paint work for you. Not many places use lead anymore, plenty of spreadable products exist to do the same task.

    Also, many don't like the added strain the oil pump driveshaft can see with a hv or hp pump, if that shaft fails bad things happen.

    These cars will pule coolant since they do not have an over flow tank, they sorta find center on their own. I was going to add an overflow, but it would look out of place under my hood since it looks "Stockish" and restored.

    Did you coat the cam well and did you use a good oil additive for break in? Be sure you do!

    It sounds like you have given this a lot of thought and you should be fine. FWIW All I did was point the distributor to where it usually is and went for it. Its not like you are going to be at idle or anything so its just gotta be close enough to run at high enough RPM to break in.

    Proper Dual Exhaust Install

    I hung mine from the seat belt bolts, I welded a small bracket onto the muffler body. All of the parts for the hangers were common auto parts store bits, I sliced one apart to make those weld on brackets.
