Fox TB doesn't fit under hood

I just converted mine to the FOX setup and it is very tight as well. I'm using a Cobra intake with an E-brock TB and no blanket. I'm sure it would rub the blanket if there was one.

Trick flow now Offers CNC'd Trick Flow Heads

Don't forget the R or Dart block to go with all that power. You should easily break the stock one with parts like that.

    Attn those with Romac Balancers

I had the same issue with Mac pullies and a Romac balancer. I just ground a chamfer in the edge of the WP pulley and it was fine.

    Disappointing race results

You really need a 3500+ converter with that E cam and it needs to be rev'ed to around 5800 rpm. You'll also need more gear to get the best times from your car...like a 4.10-4.30. With a good converter, gears and spinning the motor higher you could easily drop a large amount of ET assuming that...

    Kaenen Hoods

Post that over at Stangcrazy.com and see if anyone knows for sure. I think Frank Peterson had one on his Real Street car and I think someone over there may actually be a dealer for them.

    Porting TW heads worth it?

You can change the cam without pulling the heads. Porting the heads is expensive so why go through that, plus the wait to get them done, rather than using what you have now. So maybe the numbers are not as high as you would like them to be??? If you really are looking to make those...

    Porting TW heads worth it?

. OK…Maybe 290 but I’m not willing to say that 325-350 in anywhere near a possibility. That is simply not what is going to happen. I’m sorry that you don’t like that idea but the fact is that there really are not any cars making that kind of RWHP with the parts you have listed. The power...

Finally dynoed my GT40P 300rwhp combo!!

Nice job on meeting you’re goal of 300+ rwhp! I think that is a very respectable accomplishment

    Porting TW heads worth it?

That TFS 1 cam is a weak point IMO. Most cars making 300+ rwhp use either a custom cam or something larger off the shelf. The Cobra intake is also a bottleneck but you can make 300+ rwhp with it. Your goal of 325-350 rwhp is unrealistic with your current setup IMO. You'll most likely fall in...

Think this cam is good for my combo? H/I/supercharged stock block.

I think your car will idle better, produce less emisions, make enough power to split the stock block and get better fuel economy with the stock cam. I doubt you would actually go any faster with an aftermarket cam but if you are going to use one then I would suggest finding one with more...

    How much boost?

There are way too many things to consider that you didn't mention to say how much boost you could see. You didn't even say what blower you want to use. S-trim? T? XX? YSi? With a YSi and the right stuff to go with it you should be able to run 25-28 psi.

    Cam Q

Unless you are going to put a converter in your car I would not put a cam in it. Your car will be faster and feel much better with the stock cam while the converter is stock.

Would ported Trickflow TW heads be a good for my combo?

What's wrong with the stock cam? Cheap, Works well with Vortech blowers, Good low end power. What more could you want? Also, because these motors have hyd. roller cams you won't NEED new lifters but you should look them over and make sure they are all in good shape.

how do you guys cut good 60fts on drag radials?

Raise the pressure to 22 psi or so and try that. Also, slipping the clutch is best for traction with DR's. When my 95 ran low 13's I would leave at ~4200 RPM and cut high 1.8's on regular radials and low 1.8's on DR's with about the same launch technique. That was with all stock suspension...

    99+ brakes on a 94 GT?

The 99+ calipers are aluminum rather than the steel of the stockers. The advantage really isn't in the extra area of the 2-piston units but moreso in the contact area of the pistons to the pad and the pads to the rotor. The 2-piston calipers spread that load more evenly which is very good...
