ford used to offer a brief history based off the vin. Not sure if they still do. I cannot remember if it is a history 999 report (thats stuck in my head). but you call them, give the vin. Then they mail you a free report a few weeks later. IIRC, it works for 67 and later vehicles.

Buy or Build? Which is wiser?

on a plus side. Buying someones half finished project will save you a ton of money. I have also stopped buying projects. I have told myself that I need to finish the ones I have first. I basically have a stray dog syndrome. Where I see a beat down project, and I feel compelled to bring it...

Buy or Build? Which is wiser?

Its a hobby. I enjoy the busted knuckles and singed hairs about the same as I do driving the car. If I had the money to burn, I would still be buying beat down projects and spending my spare time taking them apart and trying to put them back together. Although I do agree that it sucks...

    Starter wont stop engaging

x2 Also check your battery cables. When the solenoid sticks for long enough, it will get the cables hot enough to burn the insulation off.

    It's A Race......

I need to get back to work on it. My wife and my 3 kids have all had nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. Its lasted the past 2 weeks. So far I have been the only health one to take care of them. Which means I have been stuck inside cleaning poopy diapers while my wife is puking her guts up...

    It's A Race......

My projects have substance and I will be considered a visionary. (at least that is what I tell the wife when she complains about the mess). This reminds me that I have to get off stangnet and go clip and box the rear frame rails.

If its the law, I suggest weed and feed. Apply 2 days after mowing, and watering. Make sure you apply when the dew is still on the grass. Then let it sit for a few days before mowing again. You should see an improvement within 30 days.
