    That sucks man I was hoping to come back from leave and hear that you had everything finished. I used arp ones and went 70 on the uppers and 60 on the lowers with them soaked in oil. See if you cant get a hold of mo_dingo I know he had a similar problem when he did his and it turned out...

    they'll probably debate that for a while on here, but I set my limiter at 5500 and have been rodding on it since 100. Just make sure you do your first oil change after about 2 eng hours imao.

    clean and unplug it if it runs the same way unplugged you know its bad, I reused my old one and it worked fine

    I know when I'm doing mine I wait like a minute after turning the engine before making my adjustments I think its has something to do with the lifters pumpin up not sure really just seems to help, but even then I never get it 100% perfect. I just cut the top off my old valve covers and lash it...

    :lol: :lol: :lol: I thought I was going insane when I was doin mine the first time just remember loose is better than to tight cause you can always readjust them once you get everything else running the clacking will just be annoying.

    I did my H/C/I and now I'm saving for 351 for when I grenade the shortblock (and hopefully dont take the heads with it), but as long as you get it balanced from the people your buying it from the block work wont cost a grand in fact if you do some searching on what you have to do to clearance...

    I know its 80.2 your also bypassing A/C also but if yah want A/C just do a search for it you should be able to find it pretty quick.

    I'll give yah the traction thing cause thats probably why they have so many clutch problems As far as the power thing so are stock mustangs with a little more wieght. Although I havent seen to many non sti ones here at the local dragstrip but the sti's are low 13's upper 12's with not alot...

    :lol: :lol: :lol: Been there done that! One time I left the breaker bar on there and forgot about it and went to start the car it actually backed the bolt completely out. :D
