    A friend of mine had a factory freak. He bought it used.... We later found out it had 3.73's, Pullys, K&N panel filter, Deleted air silencer, Headers, so much for a factory freak i guess

    Very true but im not saying if they work or not. From what everyone says here i dont think buying one would be a good idea, but... Why aren't all cars installed with higher flow panel filters like the K&N?

It has the huge set of gashes on the back I think something in my garage fell on it (maybe my dads kayak) and doesn't look like a quick spray over job at Maco can fix it.     yeh i have the K&n box air filter replacement already was only $30. I made a highway trip and a full tank usally gets me 330miles. with the k&n im getttin around 360 now. works alright

    So whats your take on getting the premium wiring upgrade and waiting for the 75amp alt to fail, then buy the 130amp alt?
