    65' motor ticking/knocking

Could be the lifters. You can also check the rocker arms to make sure one hasn't come loose.

    Removing lower control arm

You don't want to heat the bolt, that will expand it and make it even harder to get out. Heat the nut red hot, not the bolt, so the nut will expand making it easier to get the bolt out (I realize you can't heat the nut because it is in the frame). Best option is your excuse to get a new...

HEI Distributor or Pertrnix Electronic Ignition

I have a factory tach and HEI. It works, but you can't wire it to the "tach" prong on the distributor, You have to wire it in line for the coil if I remember right. That is really cool. Just like modern ignition. I have Isuzu steering on my Stang too. :)

    Clutch pedal jumps - help

There is a spring on the clutch pedal assembly. It is both a return and assist spring for use with the old 3 prong style pressure plates. It should be removed when using a new diaphragm pressure plate. Might solve your problem. The diaphragm pressure plate should require less foot pressure...

    '68 backup light switch location?

you'll have to get under the car. It is integrated into the neutral safety switch. The wires will run in the engine compartment up your firewall and there is a connector a few inches from the lip at the top slightly towards the drivers side. It has four prongs. You can test there to find...

A.R. Daytona 17" wheels, Anyone use?

What is the link to those? I like them. The +0 and +24 is the offset. 0 meaning there is equal amount of rim in the front and the back (the mounting surface is right in the middle), and the +24 means that the mounting surface is 24mm towards the outside of the rim from the center (more for...

Here is a pic of my HEI. I needed to use a 1" carb spacer to get my aircleaner to fit over it.

HEI Distributor or Pertrnix Electronic Ignition

Prob personal opinion on what you want it to look like. Some people dont really like the looks the HEI. Thats what I have on mine and I really like it. 1 wire hookup, no external coil or box. 55k volts. Works great.

    power or rac steering

Yeah, the hoses will interfere with the factory zbar from what I hear. I run the cable set up for my clutch. I used the stock mustang pump and it works just fine. If you get the box from Borgeson, you can build your own hoses for a LOT cheaper than they sell them. Find a used stock pump that...

    power or rac steering

In my opinion the factory power steering is horrible. I don't have any experience with the rack and pinion setups, other than they are really expensive. Look into a Borgeson integrated power steering box. Sweet modern setup that bolts right up. I built a DIY junkyard version that was around...

What power steering fluid to use?

I used a quality "power steering fluid" It is clear not red. I cant remember what brand. A pump is a pump, the "ATF only" was for the old power ram. It only took 1 quart for me.

    Installing '68 Coupe Windows

I would demand a refund. That is retarded. If you can get the glass out without ruining the rubber, then you can use it again. I have always had to cut the seal to get the old glass out.

How difficult to replace inner fender apron?

Not hard. U will need to drill holes for the shock tower bolts, and also holes for plug welds. Just make sure everything is cleaned up nice and you are able to clamp the welding area firmly before welding. Some trimming may also be required. Good place to learn.
