Building a better front torque box

There is no real structure up there. The t-box is already tying the core front pieces together where the load is.

    opinions with tranny/gear ratio

So you can: 1. Spend big bucks essentially rebuilding your t5 again (by buying a t5z) AND install a new rear gear AND hope you don't break the trans again or 2. Spend big bucks getting a TKO Fix one problem at a time, you have a weak link in the transmission.

I've decided to put a 331 in my car and have a question.

Stone: He already runs an EFI setup with a blower. Moving from the 302 to a 331 you are asking to pick up another 100 RWHP with 29 more cubes and cam change (to put it another way you are looking for a 25% increase in total usable output). I don't think the 165s will support it but I am far...

    351C SWAP TO 429/460

If you go from 351c to 460/429 you will need not be reusing the transmission from the cleveland or exhaust you have now because you will be moving from (to use a chevy term) a small block to a big block

    AOD and AODE

I've always had the 2.85 first gear (wide ratio) and 4.11 so no I do not have any comparative times.

    AOD and AODE

Why are you 'downgrading'? You can also get an AOD rebuilt into an AODe case and then you can use the taller first gear too ;)

    335 series 400ci in a 67

You won't need access plates for the plugs. Just a 90 degree swivel adapter on the back of your spark plug socket. I change the plugs in mine without moving the motor. It is easier to do with the valve covers off but I've done it with the valve covers on enough times.

What size wheel spacers and studs?

Just a point of clarification....4.75 bs is the better fit than the 4.5...so if you are buying spacers buy for 4.75.

So someone decided to copy our idea for an E-brake handle

While I can understand feeling a little slighted just to put this into perspective.... You essentially copied ford's ebrake handle. You duplicated the mounting design (so it would work with all the other stock parts of the ebrake system that you aren't making), modified the physical appearance...

Why Can't I stop My 351w From Dieseling (Engine Runon)

I wouldn't it may be old school and all....but if you do that little trick the wrong way you could bend a rod or worse. Water doesn't compress.

    68 GT uneven rear

Does it still sit crocked when you are in it ;) I had a similar problem with my car, the PO replaced the passenger side frame rail. He put it in well enough and it measures out correctly but the rail has a slight angle to it so the leaf spring would sit at a slight angle making the passenger...
