    Has anyone installed the Midwest Autogear mirror covers?

    Well I have them already, I know how they look, put a set on my friend's red 05GT :flag: But I was wondering if the silicone might be a better solution to the tape since it won't raise the covers as much..the tape pads the height a little bit.

    Who had a 99-04 and upgraded to a 2005+ ?

    Only two things that annoy me so far about the 05-07s: 1) The hood seems eternally long when driving the thing. 2) The way the corners of the hood meet the fenders, if you look at it from certain angles it looks like there's a huge gap between the two. Seen this on all S197s. :SNSign:

    I helped a friend install hers, they come with double sided tape. I was thinking for my install, maybe a thin layer of black silicone might make them sit a little more level with the rest of the mirror rather than the tape? If the silicone doesn't come off the mirrors if I ever pried the...

    I have owned a 98GT, and now a 03 and 07. Night and day difference between the 03 and 07. The new one rides better, feels stiffer, seems quieter, and is roomier for my 6'4" self. It definately feels like a bigger car, but I'm loving it so far. I still feel more 'connected' to the 03, maybe...

    The stock GT500 vents are open underneath, water is not an issue. Same goes for 03 Cobras who opened up their factory vents.
