    >>>WHICH MUSTANG SHOULD I GET??????

Depends what you want to do with it. Do you plan to leave it basically stock, or do you plan to mod the daylights out of it? Modding a 5.0 is much easier and typically cheaper. Both engines can make some incredible power, but the 4.6 will give you better gas mileage if that's a concern (for most...

    Clutch Woes

I agree. If you don't have an adjustable cable and aftermarket quadrant, I'd start there. Adjustments in the cable can make quite a difference.

HELP!!! CAR BUCKING & PULLED CODES

That code 23 might also be due to your MAF sensor being dirty. Pull your MAF and use a Q-tip with some carb cleaner and gently clean the two wires hanging down inside the MAF. Made a world of difference for me.

    Bad Starter?

The solenoid is on the fenderwell in the engine compartment. It is the first connection on the positive side from your battery. It's a likely culprit, but I'd check your connections first. Since you just moved the battery, you quite likely didn't snug something down. Also check for corrosion...

How much would labor be for this usually?

I think $300 is a fair price. It's pretty descent amount of work you're having done. Not all that hard, but time consuming. I'd also recommend replacing your pilot bearing and rear main seal while you're in there. They're cheap and I don't think they'd add much to the labor. You'll kick yourself...

Oil Pan Gasket swap, whats all involved?

Not Easy To Tell There's no easy answer here. You're going to have to pull the clutch and flywheel to be able to see the gasket. Once you've done that, you might as well replace the rear main, cuz you're already in there. They're cheap. Put it back together and see what you've got. If it's...

    Help!! Problems with clutch

Make sure you either resurface your flywheel, or get another one too. If your flywheel is glazed, it will also exhibit that symptom. Cheap insurance!

    Tranny swap

I sold my AOD (it had a blown OD position) with bellhousing/converter, etc. for $80. You should be able to get significantly more for yours if it's all working. I'm 6'1" 225, so I ain't buying your dash excuse!! You might have got that by your dad, but I pushed and pulled under there...

    Tranny swap

That's an awesome deal. Make sure you resurface the flywheel (and make sure there's enough metal there). I'm having to redo part of my swap cuz I didn't. :( Take your time on the pedals. They're the worst part. The WCF article says you can pull the shifter through the console, but I didn't...

How much for a 5 speed? lookin to install in 65

They vary widely, and it'll also depend on what else you get with it. I got the bellhousing, flywheel, clutch, shifter, rebuilt tranny for $700. Putting it in a '65 you won't need all of that. Just make sure you know what you're getting! If you don't know, take someone that does with you!

Need help about clutch, throwout bearing, etc. install plz!

I got a King Cobra and it came with the alignment tool. I got mine from Summit. Mine's now slipping with only 15k on it. However, I think my problem is the flywheel (used), not the clutch, so I have to leave you with that caveat. If I had it to do again (which I may soon), I'm going to go with a...

    Got hosed in Stangnet classifieds.

Putting out the word on a scammer is all of our business, tech or not. You knew it wasn't truly tech when you read the title of the post. If it annoyed you that much, you shouldn't have read it. I for one appreciate the heads up! Good luck GHB!!
