    Standard FE's will take alot of abuse, you can take a 390 in a truck drop a 428 crank in it and end up with a 410 basically. Will run on pump gas and put down some immpressive hp numbers and an ass load of torque.

    There is a mustang II running around town, it has about a ten footer red and black paint job, the motor is stock 302 and C-4 auto the only upgrade is dual exhaust with chrome tips out the back. Now my question is what would be a fair price for this car? Don't worry I am not a II hater I like...

    Did you look and see if the trans seal is good, and did you mark the driveshaft, sometimes they like to go back in the same way.

    Take a good look at it and see if the rubber is cracked and falling out.

    You said you did the u-joints, is the drive shaft origional? mabey it is out of balance.

    :stupid: you can go pertty far with the stock cam, it gives you good low end torque which is needed with that auto.
