    I was in the same position as you. I've tried a couple of things: 1) Dynomax makes some tailpipes that will bolt up, but don't fit overly well. It DOES work though. 2) I currently have the Pypes catback and it fit the PHB with no problems.. It's cheaper than $430 too and it's stainless...

    Installed clutch, now speedometer not working

    Well, all the transmission connectors and wiring are all in that area behind the intake. There are at least three connectors there. I'm willing to bet either one of those connectors is loose or there is a broken wire somewhere. You said you already replaced the VSS.. Do your reverse lights...

    I have: MAC Longtubes Lethal Performance catted X pipe for MAC longtubes Pypes catback.. It doesn't "drone" so much as you get that steady resonance "waaahh wahhh" left-to-right sound, but you can still hear the rumble of the exhaust.. The sound of the whole system though is fantastic.. Riley

    I know the 2.6 fits under a stock 03 cobra hood *on a cobra*, but doesn't fit the stock 03 cobra hood *on a GT*. Mike at Kb said it was due to the way the lower intake was designed. So, I would think that the height of the IAC is significant enough if it won't fit under a terminator hood on...

    You just said that the motor would be out for a rebuild and you didn't give us any specs. I wanted to make sure you knew that you will need a "built" motor. Sounds like you have everything you already need then.. By all means go for the 2.6.. Riley

    Broken Differential

    If the car doesn't move at all then I would suspect a broken input shaft over something in the rear.. Unless there is something to tell you that's definitely in the rear somewhere.. Riley

    The KB "rated for" numbers are generally theoretical.. You will never get 750hp out of the 2.1 nor 950 out of the 2.6. The inlet is the restriction on the 2.1. Just look at the difference between the 2.2 and the 2.1. There is only .1 liters difference and people make way more power with the 2.2...

    All modular parts should be neutral balanced. So, your flywheel should be the same. However, I would still have it checked before you install it.. Riley

    I thought they were, but I could be wrong also.. I doubt it will hurt anything to reuse the stock bolts.. I just replaced them all with ARP stuff.. Riley

    Huh.. The PI cam bolts are the same as the harmonic damper bolts (different washer though) and I thought the damper bolts were TTY.... Riley

    ARP makes cam bolts for out motors.. They are NOT torque to yield bolts so you can use them more than once.. Riley
